Upgrades

Cherry is the seventh limited hoverboard in Subway Surfers. Like any other hoverboard, it protects you from crashing for 30 seconds. When crashed, the hoverboard will explode and need to recharge for a few seconds before using again. The board has a picture of a cherry blossom on a green and white striped background. It was introduced in Subway Surfers World Tour: Tokyo and will only reappear if Tokyo is a future edition. In order to unlock the hoverboard, users had to collect 60 Japanese keychains within a week at the final week of the Weekly Hunt.
History
The Cherry board was added to the game on 2/5/2013 with the Tokyo Update. Players could unlock this by collecting 60 Japanese dolls at the final week of the Weekly Hunt.
On 30/5/2014, it reappeared to the game as "Cherry Comeback".
On 6/4/2017, it was available as a hunt prize at the second week of the Weekly Hunt for the Monaco edition. Players who already unlocked this board received 10 instead.
Trivia
In the Monaco update, Cherry reappeared as a Hunt prize as an Easter 2017 special.
